Jake / Bryan Nelson Red-Furred Dog-Like Biped — circa 2007

“Jake Nelson reported that he and his uncle Bryan first saw an animal on all fours that then rose and walked toward them on its hind legs. He estimated it stood over six feet tall, had short reddish fur, deep red eyes, pointy ears, a wet-dog odor and long strides.”

“During the January 13, 2010 BAASS re-interview, Jake Nelson gave a more detailed morphology for the reddish dog-like biped: roughly three-inch fur over most of the body and face, a thicker dog-like neck, snout, side-positioned pointed ears, red eyes that he explicitly said were not glowing, raised shoulders, bent arms and knees, and a reported preference for faster bipedal running.”

“The over-six-foot height, stride and red-eye descriptions are witness estimates from a retrospective family account.”

“Jake described a sulfur-like odor strong enough to make him gag and clarified that the creature’s eyes were red but did not glow.”

“Several local witnesses described large dog-like creatures that could stand or run on hind legs.”
